Farming is most feared when money is spent and effort is put in, yet crops show no improvement. Yellowing leaves, weak roots, small fruits, and early decline... Often, the issue isn't poor fertilizer quality but the crops' inability to absorb it. Traditional foliar fertilizers with overly concentrated nutrient solutions are mostly blocked by the leaf surface.


Cardiff Phosphorus, Calcium, and Zinc (40-420-0) is a liquid foliar spray product that employs nano-cellular transdermal absorption technology, fundamentally transforming the method of nutrient uptake.


1. Nanocellular Particles: Smaller, denser, and more easily penetrate cells


Cardiff Phosphorus-Calcium-Zinc is a liquid foliar fertilizer designed for direct application via spraying on plant leaves. However, despite the same method of application, the effects can vary significantly—this difference lies in the particle size of the nutrients.


The nutrient particles in ordinary foliar fertilizers are relatively large and lack sufficient penetration. When sprayed onto leaves, most are blocked by the "protective layer" on the leaf surface. Although the leaves appear wet, the actual nutrients that enter the cells are minimal.


Cardiff employs nanocellular particle transdermal absorption technology, which essentially involves making the nutrient particles extremely fine—much smaller than those in conventional foliar fertilizers.


How fine is it? For example: ordinary fertilizer granules are like small pebbles, while the leaf surface resembles a net, making it difficult for the pebbles to pass through; Cardiff's nanocell granules are as fine as flour, allowing them to easily penetrate the mesh and directly enter the leaf cells.

To put it simply: conventional foliar fertilizers are like sand poured through a sieve, with most falling through. Cardiff, on the other hand, is like finer flour, with the majority passing through the sieve and entering the cells. This is not magic but a genuine difference brought about by physical scale.


2. The ratio 40-420-0 conceals profound wisdom


Cardiff Phosphorus-Calcium-Zinc is a high-phosphorus, high-calcium, nitrogen-free liquid foliar fertilizer.


Why zero nitrogen? Because during the mid-to-late growth stages of crops (such as bud differentiation, fruit setting, fruit expansion, and grain filling), the biggest concern is excessive nitrogen fertilizer leading to lush growth but poor fruiting. Cardiff deliberately excludes nitrogen to guide crops in redirecting energy toward root development, flowering, fruit setting, and expansion.


Phosphorus 420: Phosphorus is a core element for energy and genetic material. Combined with specially added phosphatase energy elements, it promotes explosive root growth—resulting in abundant white roots and deep penetration. It also provides sustained power for flower bud differentiation and grain filling.


40% Calcium: Calcium is the "steel reinforcement" of cell walls. A calcium deficiency leads to soft, cracked, and storage-unstable fruits. Cardiff's high-calcium formula effectively replenishes calcium, enhancing cellular structural strength.


Zinc: Zinc serves as a catalyst for the synthesis of various growth hormones. Deficiency in zinc results in small leaves and short internodes. Supplementing with zinc can enhance leaf thickness, deepen green coloration, and improve luster.

3. What visible changes will occur in crops after foliar spraying with Cardiff?

After foliar spraying, nutrients are absorbed by the leaves and transported downwards. Usually, after 3-5 days, digging up the soil reveals an increase in lateral roots, dense capillary roots, and white and tender root tips. 5、 Not all phosphorus, calcium, and zinc are called Cardiff
